We Promote Catch & Release Fishing - Preserve the Fisheries!

Welcome to Fishing Leaderboards.com!  Creation of Fishingleaderboards.com was inspired by an annual family and friends fishing trip to Lake Wabatongushi, located in Ontario, Canada.  After several years of fishing at Errington's Wilderness Resort, the group wanted a way to track the quantity of fish we caught and released on a daily basis for comparison to previous years and for the various fishing contests we created.  We caught and released - and continue to catch and release - hundreds of fish during the annual trip.  The Fishing Leaderboard we create for each trip is an inexpensive way to commemorate and remind us throughout the year about not only the BIG fish we caught but also the good times we had.  We believe in throwing back the "big ones" to preserve the fisheries so that we - and others - can continue to partake in future fishing trips or events for many years to come!  I will warn you, however, that hanging a final fishing leaderboard with last year's trip statistics in your office can result in excessive daydreaming and reduced productivity!
